How to use NetL

Everything from installing the app to signing up and going live — start to finish. Free, with nothing to pay at any step.

1

Install NetL

Download and set up the desktop app once.

  1. Download NetL for Windows and run the installer — it's free.
  2. Install the one-time OS driver requirements: OBS Studio's virtual camera driver (or v4l2loopback on Linux), plus a virtual audio cable such as VB-CABLE (Windows) or BlackHole (macOS). This is a standard requirement for any virtual camera app, not unique to NetL, and only needs doing once per computer.
  3. Launch NetL. You'll land on the sign-in screen.
2

Create your account

Free, and done entirely inside the app — nothing to fill in on this website.

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Create Account.
  2. Fill in your Full Name, Email Address, a Password, and your Country.
  3. Check the box agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and confirming you won't use NetL for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purposes.
  4. Your account is created and active immediately — no payment, no waiting. You'll get a confirmation email.
Double-check your email address when signing up. It's how we reach you for account notifications and support.
3

Use the virtual camera

Route an imported video into any app that expects a camera/mic.

  1. Click Import Video and choose a file (.mp4 .mov .avi .mkv .webm).
  2. Click Start Virtual Camera.
  3. In Telegram, Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, OBS, etc., select NetL as the camera, and your virtual audio cable as the microphone.
  4. Toggle mute to switch between the video's own audio and your real microphone.
  5. Playback controls (play/pause, seek, loop) work like a normal video player and drive the live output.

NEED HELP?

Email support@netl.online. Camera/mic not detected in a call? Recheck the one-time driver setup in step 1 first — that's the most common cause.
